Quamby Corner is a quiet country caravan park at Golden Valley, near Deloraine in northern Tasmania. The park offers powered and unpowered sites for caravans, campervans and tents. Budget onsite accommodation is also available.
Amenities include toilets, showers, laundry, spacious barbecue shelter with a camp kitchen, and additional outside wood-fired barbecues and campfires (when conditions allow). Facilities include disability-friendly amenities. All amenities are included in the tariff. Campers with children can explore the extensive grounds and enjoy the playing field. Dogs of a suitable breed are allowed strictly under owners' control, on a leash at all times except in designated exercise areas.
Peacefully situated on Golden Valley Road at the foot of Quamby Bluff. It is on the Meander Valley Great Heritage bike ride route, next to the Highland Lakes Road scenic route to Hobart via Great Lake and close to the Tasmanian Trail and the Great Western Tiers Touring route. Local attractions in nearby nature reserves and National Parks include Liffey Falls, Quamby Bluff walking track, Huntsman's Lake and Mole Creek Caves.
Nestled beneath the Great Western Tiers, Golden Valley is approximately a 45 minute drive (60 km) from both Launceston and Devonport.
