Camp Nowhere

Camp Nowhere: The middle of nowhere, but better. Perched on yingina-The Great Lake in Tasmania's Central Highlands, this once-humble fisherman's shack now boasts the kind of off-grid charm that says "Unplug, but make it photogenic."

It's a sanctuary for rest, relaxation, and the fine art of doing absolutely nothing—something we suspect you might need a refresher on. Good thing we make it easy for you.

Only just over an hour from Launceston and Devonport (hello, Spirit of Tasmania travellers) and 2 hours from Hobart, it's beautifully centrally located to explore all that the Central Highlands and surrounds have to offer.

Camp Nowhere is an adult's only retreat suitable for two guests. The Camp has a king bed and generous bathroom with shower and deep soaker tub in which to unwind. The space is thoughtfully decorated with bespoke carpentry and custom details for a relaxing and recharging stay.

With lots of hikes, world-class trout fishing, and the UNESCO Central Plateau at your doorstep, there is lots to do for the adventurous type or spend the days unplugging from daily life by playing games or roasting marshmallows over the campfire. The beauty of Camp Nowhere is that you can make it your own.
