Meander Falls is a moderately challenging walk with an elevation gain of over 500m. Following the course of the Meander River, the walk takes in a wide range of vegetation types with many flowering understory plants as you climb through ancient temperate rainforest and up into the sub-alpine Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.
Iconic Tasmanian species like King Billy pine, Celery Top pine & Myrtle give the forest both colour and texture. Walkers should be prepared for changing weather conditions at higher elevations but will be rewarded by stunning views along the length of the track.
Meander Falls Track is grade 3 and will take you 6-7 hours to complete.
