The Furneaux Islands Festival is a unique Tasmanian event held on Flinders Island to celebrate the community, culture and musical heritage of our diverse island community. Held annually in January, the festival stages a variety of events at different venues across the Island.
The Furneaux Islands Festival weekend will be held January 22nd - 24th We will be hosting a Twilight Market on the evening of Friday 22nd in the Main Street of Whitemark and a Free Community BBQ Day on Sunday 24th at FIAAI (Flinders Island Aboriginal Association) Park in Lady Barron.
The weekend will feature a wonderful program of events and activities to take part in alongside our talented local musicians.
The Festival features a bounty of musical and performing talent, locally inspired arts and craft and delicious local produce - all in celebration of our laid-back island lifestyle.
