Make a clay 'post' out of slabs, and then hand build your animal/s on top. Some ideas for animals are: owl, chook, bird, figure, reptile etc.
Professional practicing artist Lee-Anne Peters will guide you with this. It will be an exciting morning, or afternoon of clay building.
