The Rose Garden Café sits within the Nigel Peck Centre at Woolmers Estate, with views across the National Rose Garden and the heritage precinct beyond. It's a relaxed, country-style café serving breakfast and lunch made with fresh Tasmanian produce, and the ideal place to start or finish your visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Arrive early and make the most of it. The café opens at 8am, and breakfast guests are welcome to walk the estate grounds complimentary until 10am. That's over 13 hectares of heritage gardens, original 1820s buildings and the National Rose Garden to yourself before the day visitors arrive. It's one of the quietest, most beautiful morning walks in Northern Tasmania, and it comes with your breakfast.
