Champions of Tourism 2025

Champions of Tourism 2025 was held at the newly opened Eastern Wing of historic Albert Hall on Thursday 30 October, with a record turnout of more than 150 people the venue came alive with the buzz of an awards event. The theme was Great Gatsby inspired and it was great to see so many get into the swing of things wearing 1920's styled outfits.

Guests were treated to a carefully curated performance by the TSO's brass quintet, catering by Hubert & Dan, local wine and beer from our generous beverage sponsors, all while wrapped in the warmth of friendship and comradarie that is unique to the close knit northern Tasmanian tourism community.

Champions of Tourism is Visit Northern Tasmania's annual event celebrating northern Tasmania's tourism industry and those who deliver an outstanding visitor experience. This year we received a high volume of nominations, demonstrating that northern Tasmania has an abundance of individuals working hard every day, striving for excellence. Congratulations to all nominees, finalists and award winners for 2025, the sheer volume of nominations this year is something we can all take pride in as it reflects the quality of northern Tasmania's tourism industry.

The Board and Team at Visit Northern Tasmania extend our thanks to this year's Platinum Sponsor, Launceston Airport, and to the award category sponsors, beverage sponsors and prize sponsors - your support is greatly appreciated.
