What is the weather like in Launceston?
All sorts. We suggest packing for four seasons as even in the warmer months, we can get a shower or two and in winter, the sunscreen can still be required. Be sure to pack comfy walking shoes, as Launnie is best and so easily explored by foot.
Where can I find snow near Launceston?
The white stuff usually falls at the peak of winter but has been known to straddle the seasons in northern Tasmania. About an hour and a half from Launnie and at the top of Jacob's Ladder is Ben Lomond, a popular spot for snow bunnies.
