Searching for somewhere to spend an afternoon or evening dinning while you wine? These are some of our current favourites in the Tamar Valley that offer a Wine and Dine experience

Josef Chromy

Tamar Ridge Wines & Hubert + Dan

Tamar Ridge Wines have spent over 25 years perfecting their production and the result must be tasted to be understood. The only thing left was to add complimentary local food to make it an experience not to be missed. Hubert + Dan are well known local favourites when it comes to catering but have recently applied their creativity and ingenuity into their pop-up restaurant at Tamar Ridge every second Thursday from 6pm. There's no menu to look through beforehand as the it changes each week to reflect the best and freshest seasonal local produce.

Velo Wines & Timbre Kitchen

Taste the boutique, handcrafted wines at Velo before wandering over to Timbre Kitchen for lunch or dinner. You'll find gorgeously crafted food that'd been cooked on coals, fire, smoke and wood. And don't fear, dietary requirements are welcome excuses to be extra creative with their offering.

Loira Vines

Warm, rustic and homely, Loira Vines is a great place to unwind with a glass of wine, enjoy views over the spring stream (shared with the resident platypus) and a platter full of local produce to feast on. If you want a more personal and unique experience, book ahead to join one of their 2 sittings available from Friday to Sunday.

Moores Hill Estate

Moores Hill is beloved by wine lovers and newbies alike. The scenic cellar door provides a relaxed ambience to enjoy on of their seated Wine Flights (a choice of 4 x 35ml pours) along side a grazing platter, cheese box or even one of their indulgent cheese toasties.

Marion's Vineyard

In 1979, an indefatigable Cypriot and a Californian dreamer began Marion’s Vineyard and it's been crafting beautiful wine ever since. The cellar door is perched up on a hill with breath-taking views of the Tamar River. The property is also filled with unsuspecting paths that lead to secluded picnic spots where you can sip away and munch on platters filled with local produce.
