Huon Bush Retreats

Set in an extensive private nature reserve, Huon Bush Retreats is just 50 minutes drive south of Hobart, in the Huon Valley.

Accommodation includes self-contained studio and two bedroom cabins, tipees and campgrounds. Eco-facilities include 12 volt solar electricity, compost toilets, natural rain water, wildlife without cages, 5km of bushwalk tracks in an extensive private habitat reserve including rainforest and a mountaintop.

We are just 50 minutes south of Hobart:

- Take the A6 highway
- 2km after Grove (3km before Huonville), turn right onto the C619.
- Follow the blue and yellow signs through Ranelagh onto C619 North Huon Road
- 2.5km west from Ranelagh, turn right into Browns Road. Then 4km to Huon Bush Retreats.

PLEASE NOTE BROWNS ROAD IS UNSEALED. THE LAST SECTION OF THE ROAD IS STEEP AND NARROW. PLEASE USE CAUTION.

Please drive slowly at night as wallabies frequently jump in front of moving cars.
