The 'Old White Church' is a historical rural church built in 1887. Most recently used as an art gallery by a local artist, it has been newly converted to a self contained bed and breakfast studio with vintage styling.
The church features a full kitchen, claw foot bath, romantic double shower with exposed brass fittings, queen bed, day bed, lounge and dining areas.
The room is nice and cosy in winter with a wood fire pellet heater. The church is also nice and cool in summer with energy efficient insulation and is air conditioned.
A continental breakfast is is included in your stay. The fresh bread is from their local bakery together with home made locally made jam, fresh Tasmanian milk and cereal is provided. Guests can also choose to receive locally sourced, fresh produce for a self catered hot breakfast.
Set in a picturesque rural area in the beautiful Tamar Valley, it is a lovely place for an escape from city life only half an hour north of Launceston or 45 minutes from the Devonport Spirit of Tasmania dock.
It is conveniently located on the Tamar Valley Wine Route and near many other tourist attractions.
